Philosophical Consultation

See what truly matters. Act wisely.

Something fundamental is on your mind — a question, a confusion, a diffuse feeling or an obstacle weighing on your path. You do not know what to do, you want to grow, or you are looking for a thinking partner for the larger questions of meaning and direction that won't let you rest.

A philosophical consultation is a personal conversation of a different kind — neither therapy nor conventional coaching, but an intuitive dialogue that goes deeper and opens space for what is truly at work.

What to expect

It begins with a question. A consultation starts before the conversation itself — with a question I pose to you, tailored to your concern, for you to sit with beforehand. The session takes place either at my practice in Berlin-Friedenau or via video call.

Your intention is at the centre. What matters to you? What do you perhaps wish for?

I listen to what is unspoken. While you describe your concern, I listen above all to the space between the words. In my experience, there is a fundamental difference between the everyday and usually fruitless talking-about and the speaking-out of what is truly alive in the soul. The real truth, the real feeling, lies a layer deeper beneath the confusion and is usually held back and concealed. Speaking it out changes the field and sets something in motion.

To get closer to what is genuinely at stake for you, I will

  • Inspire you to see your question in a larger context and broaden your perspective,
  • Ask clarifying and deepening questions about what you already think and believe, and give you space to say things aloud,
  • Intuitively feel my way into your situation and reflect it back with empathy,
  • Explore patterns and relational dynamics — and what might lie behind them,
  • Where appropriate, draw parallels to myths, archetypes, and the great questions of human existence,
  • Explore your possible courses of action together with you.

The result is an organic next step. In the consultation you gain an intellectual, emotional, and energetic opening from which a next step crystallises — either during the conversation itself or in its aftermath.

The packages create space for a rhythmic process of development. Between sessions, just as much often happens as within them. The path unfolds as you walk it. And the soul often takes apparent detours that, in retrospect, turn out to have been the most direct route.

The goal is development

Many people ultimately come with the question "What should I do?" Philosophy is also the thinking before the actual acting in the world. Every domain of human action is preceded by thoughts that determine why and how we do what we do. Development is blocked by inner distress, lack of clarity, confusion, or emotional fog — by missing inner and outer orientation. What matters is the movement that genuinely wants to emerge organically, from within, not the patterns and concepts that usually stand in its way.

I work with people who are seeking their own path — people in phases of transition, with recurring relationship themes, spiritual crises and questions of meaning, family entanglements, difficulty making decisions, emotional blocks, or the desire for a new direction regarding what "no longer works" or "no longer feels right."

What informs my work

My practice draws on a lifetime of thinking and lived experience, developed over decades. It follows no established school and cannot be replicated by anyone else — it is, in this form, my own.

  • Deep and differentiated engagement with the breadth of Western and Eastern philosophy through my studies and the long collaboration with my father, the natural philosopher Jochen Kirchhoff — including philosophical discernment and ethical thinking.
  • The insights of systemic family constellation work, which offers profound understanding of the dynamics of the soul, a real-world sense of how actions reverberate, and what human relationships truly rest upon. Learn more
  • Years of practice as a Kundalini yoga teacher, which introduced me to an energetic anatomy — including the key experience of Kundalini rising and forms of energetic bodywork.
  • Extensive personal experience with modern relational, somatic, and trauma-therapeutic approaches. Contemporary research on nervous system regulation validates the experiential wisdom of classical yoga while adding the centrally important dimension of attachment.

I work intuitively, relationally, and process-oriented, adapting individually to your personal needs.

Family constellation

Sometimes the source of a blockage lies deeper — in your family of origin, in the fates of earlier generations that continue to resonate within you. Systemic constellation work makes these invisible bonds visible and restores a coherent order. Learn more →
